No herbarium specimen

Notes: This one was huge! The cap is about six inches in diameter, and the the stem is over a foot long. The biggest brown grisette I’ve seen to date.

trying to put distinct names on all of these grisettes is a life-work for somebody…nice job digging it out intact. It looks sorta kinda like a crocea with that ornamented stipe, which of course doesn’t occur here in North America…sigh.
