Observation 22546: Fuligo septica (L.) F.H. Wigg.
When: 2009-06-25
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found this at an animal hospital garden. I have read they call it he dog vomit slime mold. I guess this is an appropriate place to be growing then. This popped up after a recent rain storm and moves about 7 in a night. After some time it hardens up and if touched releases brown spores
