…as to why you voted “doubtful” for Myxomycota, especially now that you’ve voted “could be” for two individual species that belong to that very taxon. Do you think it’s either one of those two specific species or else not a slime mold? Or just that it’s much more likely to be one of those two species than to be anything else at all? Or … ?

You don’t think this is a slime mold?
