A tiny white polypore on a stick in Zone 47.
Near Zone 45, Zone 47 is a small, somewhat open area with wildflowers. Last year I found Pycnoporus cinnabarinus there (seen again since, as it’s perennial, and in Zone 29 a fair distance away) along with birds-nest fungi and some Sclerodermas. There are plenty of trees, branches, sticks, and twigs about though.
