Observation 22699: Pleurotus (Fr.) P. Kumm.
When: 2009-05-28
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These two similar specimens were growing in close type habit. They were growing on a dead Gum (Eucalyptus) branch. The larger specimen was about 35mm across.
The area was sandy. This could be Pleurotus australis, but the colour is much lighter in my image to the displayed image in my reference.

Both Noah and his brother were great company and I did learn from him.
