Observation 22842: Trichaptum biforme (Fr.) Ryvarden

When: 2009-07-03

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Notes:
On deadwood in Zone 05.

I’ve determined that quite a lot of the trees in Zone 05 are red pine, rather than white pine. This difference might explain differences in the fungi found there versus Zones 03-04 which have very similar fungi.
