Notes: These little red Hygrocybes stand out from the myriad of other little red Hygrocybes because of their tiny size and hemispherical caps which do not appear to flatten out with age. The mushroom shown is less than two cm from the top of the cap to the base of the stipe. Terrestrial under mixed hardwoods.
