Observation 2301: Daedalea quercina (L.) Pers.
When: 2005-05-14
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I don’t have notes on this except that it was 8.5 cm wide and “dried up a bit” since last time I’d observed it. I wonder if anyone recognizes it.

Recognized by sight: The closest I get on this one.. The labyrinthic pores are very variable in Cerrena unicolor.

The spore bearing structure is just too different, in my opinion. It seems less different from the Daedalea. Didn’t really mean to get this going again. Honest!
