Observation 23210: Psathyrella leucotephra (Berk. & Broome) P.D. Orton

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found and id’ed by others at the SMG meeting. The key for this id is the veil remnants on the stipe, and the light toned colors on the cap, along with the clustered growth.

I thought they looked similar to P. ellenae from N. America, maybe, although that one doesn’t really grow in clusters…

Lovely mushrooms! I have not seen any Psathyrella quite like that here!
