Observation 23378: Amanita farinosa Schwein.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found this guy growing under mix of Hickory/beech/Oak and Eastern Hemlock all these trees where growing about 15 feet apart form this mushroom.. IT6 is some what small. There are even Vail remnants on the edge of the cap. The Stem is is fat bulbous not really having a sac. It dose not have an annulus so it it probly in the Vaginatacea group.
