Notes: largest one I’ve seen in many years. When I first noticed this type growing in our oak woods about 16 years ago (called it “Yellow Orange Caesar”) there were some large fruit bodies. Since then, I see this type mostly every summer. Most specimens are slender and rather small, up to about 4 inches. This one (with unexpanded cap) in over 7 inches tall.
