Observation 23710: Amanita bisporigera G.F. Atk.
When: 2009-07-30
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I believe it’s a type of Amanita (possibly ocreata?), the universal veil remnants were present under both mushrooms and the spore print is bright white. They were found on the edge of a lawn and woods, on the woodland side in a sandy soil. The larger one was 2" tall (from where it was cut with scissors) and the cap was about 2" in diameter.
