This was widespread in Zones 11 and 13 in July, first appearing in mid-to-late June. First photo: flowers, June 28, in Zone 11. Second photo: fruits, July 31, in Zone 13.

These areas fruit both Russula and Lactarius, though mainly the former, and a number of other MR fungi, such as Cortinarius alboviolaceus, boletes, and others.
