Observation 23913: Boletus albidus Roques

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Cap buff and matt, approx 12-15cm across, stem w6cm, h6cm. Tubes yellowing to brown, cap cracked with age, obviously a mature specimen judging by the size of it.
Found at base of oak tree in poor soil, near woodland. Thought it was a stone at first, but on closer inspection revealed another large specimen growing next to it.
