Observation 23916: Gymnopus (Pers.) Roussel
When: 2009-08-03
Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Found growing in Wood mulch in a garden area. This area has been full of little mycological wonders. first there where bird nest and corprin type mushroom followed by slightly larger gilled mushrooms mostly psathyrella types now this specimen pops up. This has been over 6 months since they put the mulch down. IT seem as other fungi decompose the wood mulch it creates habitat for others. The spore print is white.
