This was growing on the remains of last year’s Bondarzewia berkeleyi I may get a chance to go back in a few days to see if it has grown any more. The light colored sclerotia in the foreground are Collybia cookei tubers.

Recognized by sight: There is no such thing as Coprinaceae anymore. Coprinus is in Agaricaceae and all the others ( Coprinellus, Coprinopsis and Parasola ) are in Psathyrellaceae
