They were pretty dark.

The gills are a little in shadow there, but not that much, they were pretty dark. They had a bit of the violet-red but they were really dark, I commented on that, that I expected them to have lighter gills, more just red. The ones with spores were really just brown on black.

nice. were those gills really so dark?
