tough white fruit body with pink staining fits, too. nice photo of it on the PNW key council site. and Humboldt is surely north enough to be counted as the PNW

The fruit bodies were about palm size.

It’s not clear what they are growing out of. Also how big are they. They remind me of old Laetiporus but the shape is odd.
