We got a beautiful sequence confirming that this material belongs to A. rhacopus.

I think there is a good chance that this is what I take to be rhacopus.

We will sequence the material nevertheless.

Maine is so different from the states to its south…

Maine is so different (especially in terms of the species of sect. Vaginatae) from the states to its south that I am hesitant to say that this is the “A. borealisorora nom. prov.” that I know just from looking at a picture.
