Notes: Under oaks. Can be found in good years in late August/early September on the grounds of the NYBG.
Will voucher this collection in NY. My accession number not yet assigned.

This unique bolete is often absent from CT oak woods but this year has been common. I’ve found four collections in the past three weeks here.
