with the BRB account of B. reticulatus, which MO has depreciated in favor of B. aestivalis.

Index Fungorum (and BRB) list all the affine types within genus Xanthoconium. This obs is larger and more robust than X. affine types that I find. Also, the color on the stipe is uniformly darker than what I call affine.

If aestivalis is correct, then this would seem to be a real nice find, as BRB reports the range of aestivalis as NY and MA.

and getting rarer…;)
