La. barssii

this looks like barssii though you are right in the odd smoothness of the cap. The fusiform shape of the stem is a good hint though… unfortunately the name La. pinguipes is not as old even tough it is better descriptor.

Why L. barssii?

The cap on this one seems less felty and gray-toned. A bit warmer and smoother, although less white and smooth than L. naucinus.
