Recognized by sight: No idea on this one. The cap is the LIGHTER side, darker side has extremely fine pores, surface changes brightness kind of like a cat’s eye (stone). Texture is velvety.

Recognized by sight: Have been looking for the Velvet Trametes for some time, but haven’t found it in my area yet. Your collection appears to be a good match for this: cap strongly velvety (hence velutina); cap zoned.
