Recognized by sight: This appears to be a species with the volval limb becoming gray and submembranous. I know of two such taxa known in Scotland or further south in England, but the present species does not appear to be either of these: castaneogrisea and olivaceogrisea. Both are treated on the Amanita Studies site.
