Collection location: Big Thicket, Polk Co., Texas, USA [Click for map]
These were a rather delicate, small species with caps about 2.9 cm across and stems up to 3.6 cm. The basic character of the group was that they were soft and one could almost peel the entire cap cuticle off the flesh.
The spores were white, ovoid to subglobose, amyloid, and fairly small, ave.~ 6.7 X 5.2 microns.
