Observation 26240: Hypogymnia imshaugii Krog

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Upper thallus bright jade green, with white areas as well as reddish cup-shaped area and single reddish horn (right) on thallus tip. Erosions show white and black splotches. Thallus is hollow, with nearly pure black underside, but with magenta near the growing tips.

Recognized by sight: nice pictures. The hollow lobes means it’s a Hypogymnia, and the white lobe interiors shown on the last picture make it “imshaugii”.
