Observation 26693: Resupinatus applicatus (Batsch) Gray

No herbarium specimen

Notes: These are tiny. 1/8" and smaller, occasionally to 1/4". On the side and underside of a detached slab of bark lying on a different log in a rotting woodpile. Appearance varies depending on orientation. The mushrooms found on the underside of the bark present their gilled underside, with no apparent stalk. Those on the exposed side of the bark show a short, lateral stalk.
