Hebeloma is mycorhizal, and won’t be with wood chips, only in the ground under certain trees. Need to check spore color on these.

these were everywhere in the wood-chips, even in different locations. no guarantee on spore color.

Are you sure these were brown spored? Were any of them attached to the wood chips?
