hardwood association

These were growing under mixed hardwoods, mostly maples. I don’t know how many different trees this species can partner up with.

About 12 days ago I found a group of muscaria types

that exhibited varying degrees of yellow on the annulus, and the warts. under spruce… Blue Spruce, I think.

Yes Twizzler, isn’t that interesting. All mushrooms in this observation are from a single patch. The veil color is variable it seems.
