For Pholiota- Chevrons of hyphae on the stipe, isabelline lamellae, virgate streaks on the ocheraceus pileus suggest collapsed lubricous elements. The terrestrial ecology in conjunction with the above mentioned characteristics suggests subgenus Flammuloides.
