Observation 27527: Amanita flavorubens (Berk. & Mont.) Sacc.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found hiking in woods. The one picture is of a slug eating one. Slimy bright yellow. 5-7 cm diameter. Distinct veil remnants on stem. White gills. Growing on leaf debris and pine needles, I think.
