This lone specimen was found about 1/2 mile from MO’s 27776 and 12328. It appears to be the same species and was also growing among spruce.
It was a little over the hill but was able to get some spore photos. They are in the A. vaginata range, almost globose and approx. 12.5 to 13.5 microns with a distinct beak.
