Notes: This one seems very close to what I call Amanita umbrinolutea ss.str. (compare http://mushroomobserver.org/27953?obs=27953&seq_key=790311), but has the typical high attached volva of the vaginata-group and is therefore certainly belonging there. I feel quite certain, that this is the recently described A. avellanea.
The species definton of NEVILLE & POUMARAT concerning A. battarrae, A. umbrinolutea and A. pachyvolvata seems not convincing to me.

Dear Rod, best is, to contact Massimo Candusso, the editor (http://www.edizionicandusso.it/contatti.htm). He will probably send you a copy for review. I could send you one, but then have to pay it from my pocket. Its better the editor does it, he wants to sell his books, don’t he ;-)
Can you tell me a good way to get a copy of it? I’d be glad to review it for Mycotaxon or another journal. I think it must be reviewed.
