Observation 28070: Cortinarius zinziberatus (Scop.) Fr.
When: 1987-07-04
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Greenish fluorescens, hygrophanous, found early in the season in a rich spruce forest.
Other interesting species at this particular location has been Boletopsis leucomelaena and Sarcodon versipellis, among others.

I had no idea what zinziberatus actually is, but the italians seem to know(..!)

This tiny little cort (caps 3-4 cm) looks very close to what they call zinziberatus, if not the same.
