Observation 282: Inocybe adaequata (Britzelm.) Sacc.

When: 2002-01-05

Collection location: Chumash Interpretive Center, Thousand Oaks, California, USA [Click for map]

Who: Nathan Wilson (nathan)

No specimen available

Notes:
This Inocybe is quite common in the Los Angeles area. After initially identifying it as I. jurana using Mushrooms Demystified, I have read further keys and consulted with various experts on this group and concluded that I. adaequata is the most appropriate name.
