Recognized by sight: This was found in the same place that Amanita phalloides and Amanita novinupta were growing. I don’t know what else this could be.

Recognized by sight: Based on its occurrence in North America and similarity to the European Amanita pantherina. However, it looks a bit odd particularly the volva.
