Observation 28560: Cystolepiota seminuda (Lasch) Bon

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Very small mushrooms, 1.5 – 2.5 cm tall.

All had granulose, ornamented cap margins. The largest one had a very light pink colouration near the pileus apex, and the base of the stipe has some vinaceous staining where it was handled.

Growing terrestially in a dominantly Coast Redwood, Sequoia serpervirens, and Tanbark Oak, Lithocarpus densiflorus forest.
