Closely related to the European atrovirens — we just sequenced a collection recently and it shows close affinity, but is not exactly the same species. Moser named it viridirubescens because on exposure the context develops reddish stains very slowly – a very weak feature in my experience. It has the same peculiar odor as the European C. atrovirens. Nice collection.
