According to the type description of colosseus,

http://users.raketnet.nl/keesuljee/colosseus.htm

the lenght of the stem is about the double compared to the cap. The scales are small and easily removed on a mature cap, so it could hardly look so much like comatus as this one does. It’s not unusual to see a comatus of this size.

any Reason why

Coprinus colosseus was voted down ? what macro features prove it wrong?

nice find, Nadine! I’m leaning towards Johannes’ ID…your comatus is a monster!
