Looks more like it’s got the rosy top of B. regius, but hard to say

B. appendiculatus, as far as I know tends more towards a buff color on the pileus.

This year seems to be a great year for B. regius in the bay area, judging from finds both here and the field.

also, B. regius… is delicious, by the way. One of the best local mushrooms in my opinion.
