Not sure this is C. mollis

The C. mollis that I’ve seen have dark brown fibrous hyphae, on a light tan cap, and held down in a viscid gelatin matrix. Here the cap seems more pigmented, and the surface hyphae don’t appear to be held down in a viscid surface. There are others to consider as more probable here than C. mollis.

Some Crepidotus species

were earlier synonymized with mollis. I think Crepidotus fulvotomentosus should be reconsidered, at least as a variety, as Crepidotus calolepis is.
