Notes: I found these on a pic I took of another type of mushroom. I’ve included that pic here along with the zoomed in edit. What the heck is it?


I snapped this shot a few months ago and just today noticed these black things growing from the stem of the dead leaf. So, I went back to the original photo and zoomed in on these things. What are they? A mystery!

looks like Comatricha pulchella and the mushroom is a Gymnopus species
