Unpleasant mealy odor.

Spores 5 × 6 – 7, white, subglobose with a very conspicuous hilar appendage.

Good idea Douglas. I have only ever found R. nitellina once before, and they looked much different… Though the habitat was much different.

But photos I’ve looked up match quite well with this collection, and as you noticed, the spore description matches, and this species is also noted as having a “farinaceous” odour, so you are probably right on.
