Notes: These were growing near live oak and seem to be among a large group of almost look alikes in our area that we have been calling Amanita gemmata. These were a little more robust than most of the others in this “A. gemmata group” and the spores seem a little larger; approx. 10.9-12.1X 9.1-10.6 microns.
