Observation 29915: Melanoleuca cognata (Fr.) Konrad & Maubl.
When: 2009-11-21
No herbarium specimen

Notes: November 21, 2009 this collection was found growing in the ground. When I returned to class two days later I keyed it out to Melanoleuca cognata based on its large size, whitish gills, brown cap and huge cystidia.
