21 Nov 2009 this was collected. This collection was parasitizing Stereum hirsutum shelves that were growing on a fallen branch. If I only had my camera in the field.. on the branch were numerous S. hirsutum shelves that were in a sequence of just T. aurantia to half-and-half to a couple asymptomatic S. hirsutum shelves.
It was a yellow translucent witches butter about the size of a quarter.
