Used references: For B. subvelutipes, Roody reports the occasional yellow zone along the outer margin of the pore surface.

Recognized by sight: I don’t think that this is B. discolor but it’s a intermediate form between discolor and subvelutipes. I’m just adding the name to this observation so people will see it when then click on the name. This whole group is a big mess, I don’t think anybody knows what is what.
