Observation 30667: Lactarius rubidus (Hesler & A.H. Sm.) Methven
When: 2009-12-20
Who: crbbndt
No herbarium specimen

Notes: My favorite to hunt for right behind the black trumpet and king bolete and just before the chantrelle. They are starting to pop everywhere finally from 2 days of looking i’ve managed to collect 6 ounces of dried so far and 2 1/2 lbs fresh drying now.
