the yellow universal veil fades with sun, rain and time…to white.

this is most definitely what we used to call flavovolvata. check under the annulus for bits of the original yellow color…protected from sun and rain.

I looked up A muscaria var. flavivolata in MD Arora 1986 He states that the warts are yellow. These seem to me to be somewhat white, perhaps with a little yellowing. So is that what I’m looking for? I tried to find more info online about
Amanita amerimuscaria but there was not that much. Thanks for the lead.
