Trying to ID this in Mushrooms demystified by David Aurora, Growing out of cypress stump, Cap: size largest ones 9 cm, convex, smooth,brown,corky, slightly viscid maybe dry, sweet smell, no color change when cut, no latex , not brittle Gills:decurrent, thin blades, close spacing, tan in mature specimen, white in button stage Stalk: 2 cm by 9 cm long,central, equal, no volva,partial persistant veil, apical annulus, slightly scaly. Keyed out to Tricholomatacea wasnt sure about the waxy gills or basisia type/shape
